About
Gia Allemand may be strikingly beautiful, but she wants everyone to know that she is much more than just another pretty face.  Hailing from New York, Gia always considered herself an ugly duckling who never felt as though she fit in.  She struggled everyday with the cruelty of other children.
Having had to overcome daily harassment, name-calling and even physical assault by other girls at school, Gia believes that it has made her a stronger person and is the reason she has become the strong woman that she is now.

Insecure and yearning for acceptance, Gia made education her main priority and focused all of her attentions on academic success.  Instead of wasting energy trying to gain the approval of hurtful classmates, she concentrated instead on improving herself.  Gia attended the University of Hartford and graduated one of the top students in her class with a 3.98 GPA.  Modeling and being in the spotlight had never crossed her mind until she was approached to enter a bikini contest.  Gia agreed, thinking that the experience would be a great way to build confidence and try something new and exciting.  Not only did Gia enter and compete in the contest; she won. 

Career
Suddenly Gia found herself successfully competing in several competitions, earning her the titles of Miss Italia Pennsylvania, Miss  American Dream, Miss Bikini USE, Miss Hawaiian Tropic and she placed within the top 5 of Miss New York USA.  These competitions also helped to open doors to other opportunities for her, landing her a position as spokesmodel for MET-RX, the cover of Beauty & Fitness and MAQ magazines and she has been featured in both Maxim and InStyle magazines, as well as numerous other fashion features, catalogs and bikini calendars.

Despite all of her successes, Gia still felt that something was missing in her personal life. Always attracting the “bad boys” and finding that men didn’t take her seriously because of her career, Gia took the opportunity to experience something new, taking the leap to reality television to try her luck at finding love on Season 14 of The Bachelor: On The Wings of Love.  Hoping to connect with someone with the same values and goals as she, Gia became one of the final three bachelorettes in the running for Jake Pavelka’s heart.  Though she did not end up with the final rose, being on the show gave her the chance to let the world get to know the real Gia; a sweet, caring girl who is funny, loving and likes to keep it simple sometimes.

Always passionate about animals and their well-being, Gia has been involved with numerous charitable organizations, that primarily serve to benefit animals.  One of Gia’s greatest charitable endeavors is to raise awareness and combat against the unnecessary cruelty and euthanization of dogs in shelters.  Gia is heartbroken by the number of animals that are neglected and abused by people, labeled as aggressive and abandoned in shelters upon rescue.  Many of these shelters do not make the effort to rehabilitate and facilitate adoption and instead, thousands of innocent animals are put to death. 

What’s New
Recently, Gia rescued an eight month old pitbull named Benni, who was slated to be put down by a shelter and dreams of one day starting her own sanctuary; running a farm to give rescued dogs the care and loving home that they deserve.
Gia is currently traveling extensively with modeling, promotional and charitable work and appearances bookings.
