Model, Spokesperson and TV Personality, Tali Giat is represented by The world ground breaking-leader agency responsible for the Dove Real Beauty Campaign - The Ben Barry Agency, also with Wilhelmina Denver, and Penelope Jean Publicity & Agency.  She is widely known to television audiences as the winner of the uniquely popular show on FOX network called More To Love, created by Executive Producer Mike Fleiss.  Prior to her debut on the small screen, Tali began her career as a Plus Size Model in New York City.  In 2010, Tali really hit her stride in the fashion and beauty world as she helped to pioneered a new genre of Normal Size modeling, appealling to the greatest consumer market in America; the average-size woman.  With a personal and professional mission as a role model and spokesperson for healthy body image for women and girls, she works to support initiatives that inspire a wider definition of beauty.

Tali was born on April 12, 1982, in the picturesque city of Ashquelon, Israel; located on the romantic Mediterranean Sea. Tali is the eldest of six children and as a young girl was considered highly creative, yet ‘the quiet thinker’ in her family. Working hard to make ends meet and support their large family, her parents managed to provide the essentials.

After graduating high school with honors in art curriculum, her parents sent her on a ten day adventure to Paris; a trip which they had been saving up for a long time.  It was in France that Tali’s interest in culture, travel and the arts grew stronger.  Tali served two years in the military in her homeland, and later settled in the United States and attended university in Colorado majoring in Design Management.  She learned early in life the value of hard work and she knew she would earn her own way through school.  Struggling to pay for her college education, she was encouraged by her aunt and uncle to pursue modeling.

This was a gamble which paid off and Tali was soon scouted by a top agency out of New York City.  Tali moved from Denver, Colorado to NYC where she pursued her modeling career and her long time passion for fashion and style.  She was working as a promotional model for local brands in the city, when she replied to a casting call for a new reality television show, from the executive producers of the successful ABC shows ‘The Bachelor’ and ‘The Bachelorette’, called ‘More to Love’; set to premiere on the Fox Network in late 2009.

Tali was indeed cast for the show, and would successfully be the ‘last woman standing’ to win the bachelor’s marriage proposal, as well as the hearts of the viewers.  Television audiences have endeared themselves to Tali Giat for her completely genuine and down-to-earth personality.  She brings that special-something that women relate to, and she exemplifies class, integrity and style. Her unique international and cross-cultural look, along with her full figured curves, has made Tali Giat the face -and body- of beauty today.

“Growing up, I was picked on a lot at school which made me very insecure. I also never felt a connection to an inspiring role model in my life. Whether it was for my weight, overall appearance, personality or what I had to say, I continuously felt an outsider. I was seeking for something to change but wasn't sure I had the courage to turn on my life. In time I realized I had only two choices. I could choose to be the Victim or the Creator of my own journey. I chose to be the change in attitude which I was looking for from the world. It took a lot of patience and sometimes tears, but I had to take myself through a journey of finding the positive things that I like about me and focus on that. Now I found there is a value to my voice, and how it could effect and help make a positive change, not just for myself, but for many others. Being different is being unique, and that is what real beauty should be all about.”

Tali believes that, “Rail-thin models on the runway glorify an almost impossible standard for women.  It’s time to get real.  The body image revolution has already started, and it won’t be long before the images in magazines look a lot more like the one in the mirror.”

While represnting top beauty and fashion brands, Tali is also reviewing a number of opportunities which will allow her to take her message public and reach out to women of all ages; educating and raising awareness about sizism in America and fostering positive self esteem.  By sharing her story, Tali is working to empower women and contribute to the Healthy Body Image Revolution; which is to promote normal size woman in media, marketing, entertainment, and fashion.
